Say goodbye to standing at the gas station putting gas in your car, and make oil changes a thing of the past. It may not be a muscle car, sports car, or classic truck - nonetheless we have a soft spot for fast, well designed vehicles, especially those that broke some sort of mould, or are unique. This Tesla ticks those boxes and more. There's no gas engine to look at under the hood, no fuel filler cap, no exhaust system under the car, but there are plenty of other great features to mention.

The absence of a gas or diesel powered engine is not such a bad thing in a car like a Tesla. Those who have taken a ride in one can attest to the fact that Tesla's are extremely fast, and as car enthusiasts we like the sound of that! Since these cars are powered by electric motors at all four corners, there is no torque band - so taking off quickly happens right away. When you hit the go pedal hard, you go! The lack of any engine noise is also interesting. Whether you're hitting the go pedal hard, or just slightly in normal everyday driving, the car makes the same amount of noise - or there is the same lack of noise. However you look at it, the lack of engine sounds can take some getting used to.

The interior is spacious and comfortable. Thanks to the fact that there is no exhaust, fuel tank, transmission, or driveshafts under the car, the floor is completely flat. This means more legroom, more trunk space, and…..frunk space…..we'll get to the frunk shortly….. This car has all the same features as a luxury vehicle, and a number of extras. But, we bet your neighbor's BMW doesn't have an Arcade Mode featuring 8 arcade games, or a Reindeer Mode that plays Holiday Music and shows reindeer pulling a sleigh by the speedometer. More conventional options for those who aren't quite as excited about the tech-ie features are, heated seats, multi-zone climate control, Navigation, Bluetooth, glass panoramic roof, keyless entry, driver memory, and WiFi capability. Tesla all-weather interior mats, Space-X puddle lights, optional integrated center console with iPhone charging cable, and cellular data LTE chip upgrade are all notable additions to this Tesla. This car has the Tech Package, and is supercharger enabled. Before we move on to the exterior features we should probably explain the “Frunk”. For those that are unfamiliar with the term “Frunk” which seems to be a term Tesla coined, the “Frunk” is a cargo space in the front of the car, much like the cargo space in the front of a rear engine car like a Porsche 911. Since rear engine cars only have one trunk, Tesla had to figure out a way to differentiate between the front cargo space and the rear cargo space - so you have a trunk and a “frunk”.

Finished in Tesla's 'Red Multi-Coat' metallic paint with tinted windows, this car looks very sleek. Optional Grey 21” Turbine wheels wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires are a welcome option to this large sedan. In April of this year, our client had the wheels and exterior were coated with a multi-step ceramic coating/paint protectant which is good for up to 50,000 miles if properly cared for.
