We're excited to offer this extremely nice, one owner, low mileage X/19 for your consideration. For the past 44 years our client has taken excellent care of the car, upgraded a few things here and there, and always made sure it was garage kept.

In Fiat's advertising, they boasted that the X/19 offered the same angular, exotic styling penned by Bertone that emulated the “exotic” cars offered by Maserati, Lamborghini, and Ferrari, a mid-engine rear wheel drive layout, and a driver focused interior - for much less. The “Average Joe” could afford this special Fiat performance car. This car is finished in bright yellow over tan interior, with Ferrari-esque Cromodora wheels. Taking a step into the interior and landing in the driver's seat you are in a snug cockpit ready for twisty roads. The interior which shows as nearly new, is all original other than the Kenwood stereo. From the driver's seat, the 4-spoke aluminum steering wheel, and Ferrari inspired shift-knob are close at hand, and the gauges with green needles are easy to read.

Covered in the original California Yellow paint (code 279) this X/19 has a few mods to make it just a little more attractive in the looks department. The front and rear bumpers have been changed to the early style smaller bumpers, a Daytona exhaust system with four chrome tips has been added, and 13” Chromodora Penti-Star wheels finish off the updated look. Those few things really transform the look of this fun sports car.

In the engine bay is a 1.3 Litre inline-4 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Much like the exterior, the engine and suspension have received a few tasteful modifications as well. Twin 36mm downdraft Weber carburetors sit atop the engine, while a ported and polished cylinder head with a performance camshaft helps the car breathe a little easier. The exhaust consists of Daytona headers and muffler, and under the car front and rear sway bars were added. Over the years, the car was carefully maintained, and recent service includes; timing belt, fuel pump, clutch plate, throwout bearing, and slave cylinder, brakes including master cylinder rebuild, and heater valve.

A true mid engined Italian sports car finished in Giallo, at a fraction of what other italian sports cars of the era are selling for. It doesn't have a prancing horse or bull on it, but this car is sure to get attention and perform well…...and keep your pocketbook happier.
