Yes, we really used the adjectives luxurious and rugged in the same sentence to describe this Rover. If you're aware of the Land Rover Heritage that description makes perfect sense. This Rover was purchased new by our client and was always serviced at a local Range Rover dealership. In the interest of keeping the Rover in great shape our client purchased WeatherTech floormats, and had the stock Range Rover wheels wrapped in snow tires. Finished in Santorini Black with Ebony interior trim, the list of options is lengthy - we will highlight just a few in this description. We can easily mention that this particular Rover has $12k in additional options. You probably know that the Range Rovers are highly optioned to begin with, so this thing is packed with just about every option.

To Start, lets cover the luxury aspects of this vehicle. Open the driver's door and you're welcomed into a posh interior featuring the latest in luxury and technology - digital gauges, navigation, bluetooth connectivity, heated steering wheel, dual zone climate control for rear seat passengers, all seats are heated, 10.2” touchscreen, multiple cubbies for storage, many cupholders, panoramic moonroof, XM Radio, backup camera, blind spot assist, and the list goes on…. Range Rover has done a great job with the design of the interior. Smooth surfaces, soft curves, and the dashboard and center console layout has been simplified. Gone is the plethora of knobs and tiny buttons like Range Rovers of the past. The traction control and terrain buttons have been kept in the same spot as past generations of this iconic off-roader, right near the center console compartment.

Maybe this is a good point to talk about the off road capabilities of this Rover Sport. Range Rover's 'All Terrain' technology offers many different options for driver assistance when dealing with inclement weather or less than ideal driving conditions. The central touchscreen displays information related to the conditions such as wheel information, slope assist engagement, vehicle geometry, and Drive Assist which uses vehicle surround cameras to help with spatial awareness. Other settings for the Terrain technology include Dynamic, Sand, Snow, and Mud. The 5.0L Supercharged V8 under the hood offers 510 horsepower and 461 lb/ft of Torque and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Full time four wheel drive relies on a torque vectoring Differential to help transfer engine power to the ground.
