Garage Kept Motors is pleased to offer this restored 1950 Chevrolet Pickup for consideration. This classic pickup caught our client's eye at a charity auction a few years ago. He is now ready to make room in his garage for something different. A perfect chance for you to add a classic Chevy pickup to your garage.
Between its size, and the fire engine red finish, this truck is hard to miss on the road. A recent repaint in bright red is in good condition, showing some age in a few places, but all trim and badging is in good condition, and is where it should be. Open the tailgate, and you're given a bird's eye view of the bed which features a spray on bedliner on the sides for durability, and wood slat finish on the base. The running boards are finished in black bedliner.
The interior is simple and straightforward. A bench seat re-trimmed in tan vinyl is the focal point, gauges that look to be original are nestled in the dash, and tan door panels and headliner make this truck a bit more friendly for passengers.
Mechanically, the truck has a 216ci Inline-6 mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. You may have noticed the aftermarket wheels that are fastened to the truck using 8 lugnuts rather than 6, which is a clear indicator of a 3600 series Chevy truck. The longer wheelbase of the 3600 gives a little nicer ride quality than the shorter 3100 series trucks.
As the market continues to trend for classic trucks, we believe this is a nice example offered at a very realistic price. The perfect parade truck, cruising to the local drive in, or a trip up north to the lake. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors.
