1946 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible -

239ci Flathead V8 - Older Restoration - Long Term Ownership - Many documents and receipts -

(Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are not presented due to website limitations. We're excited to offer this beautiful, classic Ford for your consideration.  The previous owner was a true car enthusiast with a taste for a few different types of vehicles.  The fact that this Ford was in his collection for such a long time says a lot about the car itself.  In the owner's files are many handwritten notes including oil filter and spark plug brands and part numbers, receipts for parts purchased over the years, and a handwritten bill of sale for the car dated April 8, 1978.  It's obvious to us from looking at the documentation and condition of the vehicle, that this car was important to the owner.

The clean lines and overall very nice finish on this Super Deluxe are a result of an older restoration.  Looking around the car, one can see that the trim is all present and in great condition, and the chrome bumpers are in great shape.  The convertible top is in very good condition, and the power top function works.

Under the hood is a 239ci Flathead V8.  Wiring and other engine components under the hood are tidy and clean.  Other documentation shows that in January of 2006 the car was shipped from West Michigan to Stoudt's Auto Repair in Lehighton, PA for an engine rebuild, hydraulic top component rebuild, and a general maintenance inspection.

What looks to be the original steering wheel greets you when you open the driver's door.  Once seated, a large amount of shiny trim that is mounted to the painted dash pops out at you.  The interior shows very well with buttons and switches all present, upholstery throughout is tidy, gauges are clean and clear, and all trim and brightwork is in great condition.  Sitting in any part of this Ford's interior is pleasing to the eye.

This car was cared for by a true car enthusiast and is ready for its next caretaker to enjoy.
