1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible - ONE OWNER

Garage Kept Motors is pleased to offer this highly original, documented one-owner Galaxie 500 for consideration. Mr. Lewis Glashower of Jenison, MI purchase the car brand new from R.E. Barber Inc. of Holland, Michigan. Mr. Glashower purchased the car as a gift for his second wife after his first wife passed away. He always stored the car indoors and kept meticulous care of it, even writing down service dates on the car with yellow chalk and keeping two spares. We have all the original documentation to accompany the sale as well, including window sticker, owners manual, and a title dating back to 1977. We believe the original may have had a loan paid off or lost and replaced.

Besides a newer convertible top and new whitewall tires, the car is believed to be all original. According to the Data Tag, from the factory, it was painted in Rangoon Red (code J) over a Red Crush Vinyl Bench Seat (code 75). It is powered by the desirable, original X code 352ci “Thunderbird Special” 250hp 4bbl V8 engine mated to the popular Cruise-O-Matic column shifted automatic transmission (code 4). As the window sticker states, it was ordered with a White Convertible Top (power and works well), Power Steering, Deluxe Seat Belts, 2-Speed Electric Wiper and Washers, Padded Dash, Remote Control Mirror, and Backup Lites Clock (works). Everything works as it should, including the radio.

What you see is what you get here. No excuses. A one-owner Galaxie with all the original paperwork. You will be hard pressed to find another one this clean, this original, with all known ownership documentation. A truly awesome vehicle with an equally awesome story.
