The build on this car was originally commissioned in the early 2000s by Sun Bum Sunscreen of California as a promotional vehicle, hence the Sun Bum monkey sticker left on the rear window. Our client acquired the car twelve years ago and brought the vehicle to the next level, completely rebuilding it from top to bottom. The car remains in excellent condition, turns heads wherever driven, and provides a driving experience unlike any other Beetle.

This mighty VW is finished in Bug Yellow over a tan trimmed interior with beautiful wood trim. It is powered by a front-mounted crate 350ci/320hp V8 mated to a 700R4 Automatic transmission with a Ford 9-inch rear end. It has all the creature comforts that the originals lacked, such as power steering, power brakes, AC, disc brakes, and power windows. It also has new wool carpet, Porsche leather seats, stainless steel exhaust, custom stereo, a Mustang II front end, and the whole car has been Dyno Matted. No expense has been spared and it shows, especially in the drive. The car runs extremely well and we can guarantee it will be the most fun you've ever had in a Beetle.
