1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
Offered here is a built not bought “holy grail” 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Resto-Mod. Our client acquired the car from California five years ago and has spent close to $80k making it one mean street machine. The car was restored in factory original Hugger Orange with Black stripes over a restored Black interior, really the only components that remain OEM. The rest has been altered and upgraded at no expense spared with ALL documentation organized and cataloged.
Performance Engineering of Jenison, MI professionally built out the 454 Big Block V8 to 489ci, which has been on the Dyno rated at over 600 horsepower. The full specs on the motor include a stock GM 2-Bolt Main Block, Eagle 4340 Forged Crankshaft, SRP Forged 212156 Pistons, Eagle H-Beam Rods, Clevite H Series Rod and Main Bearings, Dart Pro 1 Aluminum 345 Heads, Ferrera Stainless Valves, polished Edelbrock Intake Manifold, Comp Cams Roller Rocker Arms, and Comp Cams Hydraulic Roller Camshaft and Lifters. Further details on the engine build are available to a serious buyer. Other noteworthy mechanicals include an FAST EZ-EFI Self-Tuning Fuel Injection System, MSD Pro-Billet Chevrolet HEI Distributor, March Performance Big Block Front Mount Brackets, Tremec 5-Speed ELITE Manual Gearbox, McLeod Racing Clutch, Unisteer Performance Rack & Pinion Steering, Edelbrock Intake, Heidts Suspension and Brakes, and much more, again fully documented. The car also features new Vintage Air Conditioning that blows ice cold.
It is a remarkable build with just over 3,000 miles recorded since completion. It runs extremely well, cruising at at 80mph on the highway at 2400rpm. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions.
