1941 Willys Coupe
Professionally Built Hot Rod
Garage Kept Motors is pleased to present this professionally built 1941 Willys Coupe for consideration. The custom built fiberglass body was done in New York, finished in blue and silver hot rod paint. This radical Willys is powered by a 454ci Big Block V8 with a 671 Weiand Supercharger and dual carbs, which pushes an estimated 550hp. It has a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.50 gears. The engine was professionally built in Ohio and uses Eagle rods, Eagle crank, Keith Black pistons, and a Lunati cam. The car was fully assembled in Michigan in 2011 and has been owned here ever since.
Other features include a powder coated chassis, 4-wheel power disc brakes, power windows, Flaming River steering column, Lokar shifter, fuel cell, and a non-functional wheel bar and parachute for the right look. Can easily be removed if desired (see underside photos). The seats are covered in Italian leather and the paint finish is premier. The car remains in immaculate condition and has just 14 miles on the odometer since built. As you can imagine, it mainly has been escorted to car shows in an enclosed trailer.
The car also comes with a large folder of receipts and records on the build. You won't find another out there like it, especially with the attention to detail on the fit and finish. A world-class hot rod Willys build. Clearly no expense spared in the process. Call or e-mail if interested, or to make a reasonable offer. Thank you for looking.
