1966 Ford Mustang Convertible
Red on Red Icon
Two words: Classic Icon. This 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible is the epitome of iconic, especially with red paint and a white top. Our client purchased this car 18 years ago from the local Mustang Club President as a surprise 40th Birthday gift for his wife. What a cool husband! The couple has enjoyed the car for almost two decades, but it is now time to pass it on another first gen Mustang enthusiast to create their own memories.
This car remains highly original from the factory. It is finished in factory Candy Apple Red (code T) paint over a Dark Red (code 25) interior trim with a white convertible top. The car has been repainted and the interior was redone, but not in the last 18 years, which is a testament to how well our clients cared for the car. It is powered by the standard 200ci/120hp Inline 6-Cylinder mated to the C-4 Automatic transmission. It does have power steering, power brakes, and a power convertible top that goes up and down in less than 5 seconds (see video). It is nice running and driving vehicle - no issues whatsoever. Very clean underneath too. The car also comes with a car cover, spare tire, owners manual, original brochure, original keys, and even the original window sticker.
It is an extremely nice vehicle and a head-turner wherever you go. Be sure to check out over 200 photos and a walk-around video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you for looking.
