2006 Lotus Elise
Go-Cart on Steroids
2006 Lotus Elise Series 2 Roadster. Looking for an affordable yet exhilarating sports car. The Lotus Elise checks all the boxes. This 2006 example only weighs 1,900 pounds but packs a high-revving, mid-engine 1.8L Inline 4-Cylinder that delivers 190hp at 7800rpm. It feels like you're driving a go-cart on steroids. With a 6-speed gearbox and rear-wheel drive, it is a blast to drive. Add the removable targa top and you have one awesome little road warrior.
The Lotus Elise hits the scenes in 1996 with their Series 1 model, working out all the bugs and running the Series 2 from 2001 to 2011. The car has a hand-finished fibreglass body that sits on top of a bonded aluminum chassis that provides a rigid platform for the suspension, which gives the drive that “on rails” feeling. It also comes with power windows, bucket seats, Blaupunkt stereo, push button start, and remote key access. Lotus is known for making one incredible little roadster, and this Graphite Gray example has some fantastic curb appeal. The car runs and drives like a bat out of hell with awesome acoustics from the exhaust. Be sure to check out over 100 photos and walk-around video with the car running on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call or e-mail if interested. Thank you for looking.
