2013 was the second year for the redesigned 911 introduced in 2012. Porsche engineers had evolved the popular model from the “997” generation to the “911” generation. The changes were subtle, but the redesigned body featured LED main-beam projector headlamps fitted in higher front fenders, a wider rear end, a higher side waistline, and all-new LED tail and blinker lights. With an MSRP starting price of $96,400, the Porsche 911 Carrera S was priced right in the middle of the high-end sports cars competing in this market with the Audi R8 at $134,00, the Nissan GT-R at $96.820 and Corvette Z-06 at $75,600, but as the famous quote goes, “Porsche, there is no substitute!”

Featured here is a beautiful 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S. This car was originally purchased in California and has not ever seen a Winter and as expected is very clean. The dark blue metallic finish has been very well maintained and shines with a deep luster. The front bumper cover and hood were repainted to fix some stone chips, which is the minor accident on Carfax. The front spoiler features integrated air intakes, and the rear spoiler extends automatically. The front Bi-xenon headlights feature auto leveling, washers, and the “Welcome Home” feature which keeps the lights on for 30 seconds after you exit the car or unlock the vehicle to enter. The power folding rearview mirrors are heated and include the driver memory feature and the windshield wipers are rain-sensing with heated washers. Outback there is a rear fog light, LED taillights, and brake lights.

Inside the cockpit, the Luxor Beige interior has been well-kept and is clean showing little wear. The seats are covered with sport-level leather upholstery and feature power adjustment. The rear bench seat features a split-folding for extended storage. The leather-wrapped steering wheel features thumb controls for various functions and paddle shifters. The tilt/telescopic sport wheel frames the integrated gauge cluster flanking the center-mounted large tachometer. A Burmester audio system fills the interior with the highest quality acoustic sounds. The Center console features a large color touchscreen monitor for navigation and stereo functions. Adaptive cruise control regulates speed to control the car's distance from the traffic ahead. Under the hood sits a 3.8-liter DOHC Flat six engine producing 400hp @ 7400 rpm and 325 lb-ft @ 5600 rpm. The power is transferred through the Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) 7-speed automatic double-clutch transmission which facilitates quicker shifts. Four-wheel power ABS disc brakes provide plenty of control and the electric power steering provides a precise road feel. Additionally, the Porsche Active Safe system senses front-end collisions by warning the driver and priming the brakes to avoid accidents. The suspension features the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control decouples the front and rear sway bars and a torque vectoring system that helps build traction using the rear brakes along with the rear differential. The suspension has been well-maintained and presents with no issues and rolls on a set of 20” Victor wheels wrapped in Pirelli Radial Tires.
