With all of the muted and neutral colored vehicles on the road and dealer lots, its refreshing to see a car like this 914 which is finished in a bright, happy color. Finished in the vibrant color of Ravenna Green, this 914 is a car that quickly draws attention. It's not too often that you find a one owner 914 these days, so the fact that this car is indeed a one owner car, is finished in a rare color, and is very well documented make this a very special car. It's clear when looking at the car that it was well cared for over the years. From the paint to the interior, it has been well maintained. The car you see here is a 1974 Porsche 914 2.0 finished in Ravenna Green over a black interior, and shows approximately 54,607 miles on the mechanical odometer.

A very unique car through and through, the first part of the 914 that you notice is the low slung body that is capped on either end with black bumpers. The black “Targa Bar” just aft of the passenger compartment gives a bit more contrast and provides a swooping line amongst the chiseled lines of the car's profile. The Ravenna Green paint (Code L65K) is in beautiful condition, showing even gloss and vibrant color. Chrome trim is in great condition throughout the exterior from the fog light bezels to the “flag” side mirrors. The car sits on 4-bolt Fuchs wheels, which greatly resemble the 5-bolt, 5-spoke Fuchs wheels that we are so familiar with seeing on many other Porsche models.

A pair of seats which seem to blend right into the rear of the passenger compartment are the focal point of the interior. Boasting a simple, driver centric design, the interior has been well kept, and has a few extra features including an optional interior appearance package, gauges mounted in the center console, and an aftermarket Blaupunkt stereo. Other features include a tachometer and speedometer, climate controls, and a leather shift boot. Both the area under the bonnet and the area under the boot are well kept and clean.

Midmounted in the car is a 91 horsepower 2.0 Liter flat-4 engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. The car has been regularly serviced and inspected, with documentation to show, so this car is all set for the open road. With a GVWR of approximately 2690 lbs, a small mid mounted four cylinder is the perfect contribution to this equation for fun. 914's handle well and with the Targa top removed, are great fun to cruise around in.
