Featured here is a very nicely renovated 1983 Chevrolet K20. Previous ownership has completely gone through the truck, hardly leaving a bolt untouched as you can see from the photos.

This truck started out from the factory painted red but was repainted Sarge Green during the reconstruction and the color switch was very thoroughly executed. The paint has been well maintained and presents well with a nice shine. The front grille has been blacked out retaining the stainless chrome outer trim. The front chrome bumper shows some light patina but shines with a rich luster. The truck bed has been painted with a rugged bedliner that has been well-applied to protect the bed floor. The rear bumper is free of any collision damage and has been repainted black matching the factory steel rims, giving this truck a very rugged outdoorsman vibe.

Inside the interior has been cosmetically restored changing over the original carmine interior color to black and green. The metal surfaces have been repainted to match the exterior green finish. The bench seat has been recovered with black cloth upholstery, and the dash and related vinyl has been painted black. The factory door panels have a subtle custom touch with hand-fabricated black cloth inserts and the floor is covered with the factory vinyl floor covering. Factory gauges monitor the engine vitals, and the radio has been upgraded to a Kenwood AM/FM CD player with AUX input.

Under the hood sits a 350 CID V8 that has been rebuilt with some upgrades to give this smog-era mill a little extra grunt. The engine is topped with an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, Dart Iron Eagle Cylinder heads, and a Comp Cams performance camshaft to help this truck deliver some serious performance. While disassembled the engine compartment was nicely detailed and shows well. Power is transferred to a 4-speed manual transmission into a manually shifted transfer case diverting the power to the HD ¾ ton differentials with the front axles equipped with locking Warner hubs. Power is put to the trail via Mastercraft Courser LT235/85R/15 radial tires mounted on steel factory rims with factory center caps.

Underneath this truck has been well-serviced including, new steering components, new shocks, new body mounts and dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Other upgrades include four-wheel power disc brakes and HD front stabilizer bar. A heavy-duty receiver hitch has been installed giving this truck some serious towing capabilities. The underbody has been lightly detailed with black chassis paint and undercoating and presents as very clean.
