Featured here is a very clean and well-maintained 1988 GMC Suburban that is well-priced and ready to go. This would make a great additional vehicle for someone looking for a great 2nd vehicle for the summer and perhaps to haul the summer toys!

The two-tone tan and red exterior paint is factory original and while it is worn thin in a few spots the finish has been well-maintained and still holds a nice luster. Similarly, the front and rear chrome bumpers show little if any patina and presents with a deep brilliance. All the original emblems and vinyl side molding are still present and look great. As you look through the photo gallery of this Suburban, we think you will agree it is hard to believe this vintage SUV is 35 years old and has maintained its originality so well all these years.

Inside the tan interior is extremely well preserved. The carpet shows some light sun fading up front but as you move further back into the third-row seating it is almost like it has never been sat in. The cloth upholstery is clean and free of any rips or tears showing only some light wear on the driver's seat. Options include power windows and locks, tilt steering, cruise control, front, and rear A/C, full factory gauges to monitor the engine vitals, and Delco Stereo AM/FM Cassette with Dolby Noise Reduction.

Under the hood sits a 5.7-liter V8. The engine compartment is clean and well kept with new cooling hoses, a new battery, and a recent tune-up. The power is transferred through a GM 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission through a manual shifted transfer case to both the front and rear axles equipped with 3.42:1 gears with locking hubs up front.

Underneath the floorboards and frame are very clean and free of any rust. The suspension and steering are well maintained and feature power steering with power front disc brakes with rear drums. A Curt Class III trailer hitch with a full trailering wire harness has been installed. This sturdy Suburban rolls down the road on a set of Goodyear Wrangler HT Radial tires wrapped on factory steel rally wheels with chrome trim rings.

Frankly, this is a gorgeous vehicle. And you just don't see many of these Suburbans in such good shape, let alone so original. Please call if interested or e-mail with specific questions. Thanks for looking.
