Featured here is a very nice 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS tribute car. This car represents a very affordable opportunity to own an iconic example of American muscle. This car features a sharp color combination with a white exterior finish with black accents and a black vinyl top. A black interior features bench seats, SS door panels, auxiliary gauges, and aftermarket stereo.

The white paint presents as a hobbyist-applied finish with a few blemishes from the application, as well as some chips here and there. The paint presents well with tasteful black side stripes, and lower body black accent treatment. The black vinyl top is in good condition, and all the expected stainless trim is present and in good condition. The trunk features a new vinyl floor mat, and includes the factory correct jack and spare tire. The driver's side trunk floor and wheel well show indications of rust repair. SuperSport emblems are properly mounted on the front grille, front fenders, and on the rear tail panel. The front and rear bumper chrome present with a nice luster.

The black interior has had some light restoration with new interior door panels and carpet. The seat upholstery presents nicely showing very little wear. The headliner will need to be repaired or replaced. The steering wheel is a correct SS unit, and a Bosch tachometer has been center-mounted on the steering column. A trio of Bosch gauges are mounted under the dash to monitor the oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage output. A vintage Alpine AM/FM stereo with cassette tape player is mounted in the dash and is connected to trunk mounted aftermarket speakers.

Under the hood sits an era correct 396ci big block V8 topped with a four-barrel carburetor. The ignition has been updated to a GM HEI electronic ignition with Accel 8mm wires. Exhaust flows through a set of Hedman Headers. The engine compartment is lightly detailed and features an open-element chrome air cleaner decorated with the 396 decals. Power is transferred through a 3-speed 400 Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission back to a GM 10 bolt differential.

Underneath the car is unrestored but the frame and floorboards are clean. Options include power brakes with front disc and rear drum brakes as well as power steering. The brakes were recently serviced including new brake lines and master cylinder. The chassis features a set of rear height-adjustable air shocks. A new gas tank has also been installed, as well as a 3” dual exhaust that dumps just in front of the rear differential. The combination rolls on a set of 14” steel Rally wheels with stainless steel trim rings and chrome top hat center caps and are wrapped in a set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A white letter tires.

This is a solid car that runs strong. It will be a fun car to drive, as well as continue to restore and refine as you see fit and make the build your own. Please call if interested or e-mail with specific questions. Thanks for looking.
