The 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera remains timeless today in its presentation as it did when first introduced in 1984. It doesn't get much sexier than a red-on-black convertible. The red paint has been well-maintained and shines with a nice luster. The black canvas top is in nice shape and fits tightly with only some light sun fading with the rear plastic window showing some minor dust scratches. Headlights have been updated to Halogen Sylvania units and feature washer squirters. Included in the sale is a custom-fit car cover.

Inside the cabin, the black interior is well cared for. The leather seat upholstery is in nice shape with some light creasing but free of any tears or cracks and remains soft and pliable. The carpet is showing some light sun fade but otherwise very little wear and is free of any rips or tears. A leather-wrapped three spoke steering wheel frames the full factory instrumentation and clock. The factory radio has been upgraded to an Alpine AM/FM CD player and this Porsche features factory cruise control.

This red rocket is powered by a 3.2-liter single-overhead-cam air-cooled flat six with Bosch Motronic Fuel injection producing 200hp. A file of maintenance receipts accompanies the vehicle outlining a history of excellent care including the recent rebuild of the 5-speed Getrag manual transmission. The underbody is clean with no indications of any rust or collision repair. Brakes have been recently serviced including new rotors and soft lines on all four corners. This 911 rolls on Fuchs 16 X 7 aluminum rims up front wrapped in 205/55ZR16 General G-Max Radial Tires while rear is outfitted with wider 16 X 8 rims with 225/50 ZR16 tires.
