Offered here is a fully restored and substantially modified 1984 Chevy Stepside C10 pickup in metallic blue and silver over gray. (With any luck, it'll be making the trip to Waxahachie at some point.) Lowered, customized, and now boasting 500 horsepower, the truck has traveled just 526 miles since its full restoration.

The truck's exterior paint is a fresh, professional application in medium-blue metallic with silver striping and red pinstriping. The finish is glass-smooth, and the gloss is even across all body panels. There are no dings, dents, or other damage on the truck body. The “Chevrolet” script logo and tri-color paint treatment on the tailgate is noteworthy. The chrome finish on the custom front grille, front bumper, side mirrors, and door handles shows extremely well. The rear bumper has been removed and LED taillights re-fashioned. Tinted cabin glass is clear and free of cracks as are all lighting lenses. The cargo-box floor has been redone with varnished wood planks separated by body-color-painted rub strips. U.S. Mags® 20-inch, split-five-spoke wheels are mounted with 235/40 Nitto® performance tires.

Inside, the gray-themed surfaces and trim display excellent condition. Door gray trim panels are surrounded by body-color-painted metal; brushed-metal trim, a pull strap, and window cranks are in place. Textured-pattern gray fabric upholstery in a stock look covers the split-bucket seats with center armrest. Dark gray carpeting covers the cabin floor. A custom audio system is installed. An aftermarket, 3-spoke, chrome steering wheel with leather-covered rim and bowtie center emblem frames the gray padded dash and full array of analog instruments; all are new white-faced Classic Instruments® Velocity gauges. To the right, stock slide-levers operate the Heating and ventilation (air conditioning system has been removed), and a Pioneer® upgraded audio head unit is mounted in the factory-radio location. The lower dashboard metal surfaces are painted in the body color and the headliner is properly fit. Under the hood, the 406-cubic-inch performance V8 commands a clean and orderly engine bay. Open-sided, finned, bowtie-branded air cleaner cover, black Chevrolet-branded valve covers, 4-barrel carburetor, bare-metal intake manifold, aluminum radiator, billet-aluminum pulleys, and custom-fabricated exhaust headers all underscore the horsepower statement.

Viewed from below, the chassis is clean and undamaged. Clean lower-engine surfaces, custom exhaust headers, and full-length dual exhaust system all compete for visual attention. (To best evaluate the condition of undercarriage surfaces, please review the gallery photos shot from below.)
