“SVT has created what it thinks is the most off-road-ready production truck to hit the market. The heart of this truck is not the powertrain, as it was in previous SVT pickups, but its long-travel suspension. The Raptor boasts beefy cast-aluminum lower control arms up front and Fox Shox Racing dampers at all four corners—the rears have external reservoirs. When it's all put together, the front suspension has 11.2 inches of travel, with 13.4 in the rear. That's about 50 percent more than a standard F-150 with the FX4 off-road package.”

“Visually, the Raptor stands out from Ford's other trucks. The all-black grille reads F O R D—absent is any blue oval. All of the quarter panels—the fronts are fiberglass—are unique to the Raptor, complete with giant fender flares that encase a seven-inch growth in track over the standard F-150. The hood receives the ubiquitous vent treatment, but unlike many vents on cars today, the Raptor's are functional. There is also a vinyl graphic splashed across the rear quarters that was inspired by snowboard design. The Raptor will only be available in SuperCab form.”

Offered here is a very well-maintained, first-year 2010 Raptor in striking metallic-black on black with a matching ARE® bed cap. The truck's odometer currently shows 49,885 miles, or fewer than 4,600 miles per-year on average since new. Its added features, spare parts, and most important, meticulous care and maintenance make for a compelling off-road performance offering. The only hiccup on its Carfax history is a 5 year-old incident involving minor front-end damage. Full repairs were completed with no sign of the event remaining.

The exterior of the Raptor has been maintained to a high standard: Metallic-black paint displays excellent shine and deep reflectivity with no scrapes or major flaws. Sheet-metal body panels are free of dents or damage with the sole exception of a small parking-lot ding on the left end of the rear bumper. The ARE® bed-topper is pristine; roof-mounted cargo bars are functional. Grey-finish fiberglass fender extensions, hood louvers, bumper panels, and window trim are all free of imperfections; the matte-black, bespoke Raptor front grille, side mirrors, running boards, and door handles are likewise free of damage appearing like-new. There is a slight menacing look to the truck's overall dark presentation. Cabin glass and all lighting lenses are clear with no cracks or other issues. Factory badging, including the “F150,” blue-oval Ford logo, and “Raptor SVT” emblems on the tailgate, the prominent “Ford” grille identification, and “SVT” included in the side louvers, is all in place. Gloss-black-finished, 20-inch Mudster® Off Road wheels are mounted with 35x12.50 LT tires. (A second set of original-equipment, gray-finish, SVT-branded 17-inch wheels mounted with BFGoodrich® All-Terrain T/A LT315/70 tires is included in the sale.)

Inside, the truck displays its original equipment and finishes in a black color scheme. Door trim and sills are virtually as-new. Handsome black-leather upholstery with vented inserts covers the front bucket and folding rear bench seat. The leather has been properly maintained and there are no rips or tears. Black carpeting covers the floors. The headliner and moon roof are pristine. A black, 4-spoke, Ford-branded multifunction steering wheel frames the comprehensive SVT-branded set of white-faced analog instruments set on the metal-finish-trimmed dashboard. Trailer brakes and 4WD are controlled by dash switches; the automatic-transmission shift lever is located on the center console next to cupholders and forward of a combination storage box/center armrest. The infortainment screen, climate controls, and audio system are located on the center stack. A JLAudio® speaker system is partially floor-mounted in the rear. Under the hood, the 5.4-liter Ford Triton V8 commands a stock engine bay with no sign of performance modifications. All factory components are present and all surfaces are clean and correct. Viewed from below, the chassis is clean, straight, and undamaged. Fox® racing shocks remain mounted. Light surface rust is present on untreated metal.

The Raptor's factory-mounted identification and information tags remain in place. In addition to the second asset of wheels, WeatherTech® front floor trays, a full complement of owner literature, and a rear floor mat are included in the sale.
