In addition, this car received a documented replacement engine from Ford in July of 2021. At that time, the Carfax “buyback alert” was entered on the report. No damage of any sort to the car occurred or was recorded at that time. In all, the car's digital odometer shows 6205 miles.

The car's Magnetic Gray metallic paint is unblemished, uniformly glossy, and perfectly appropriate for a Shelby creation. The twin, over-the-top, matte-black-with-thin-red-trim racing stripes harken to the Shelby Mustangs of old. All trim (including the front Shelby-branded “splitter” spoiler) is free of wear; all emblems (including the red Shelby cobra emblems front and rear, and “GT350” fender emblems) are in their factory-applied locations. Gloss-black-painted, 19-inch, 7-spoke carbon-fibe-composite wheels are mounted with Michelin 303/30 performance tires. Red-painted Brembo®-branded brake calipers and cross-drilled rotors are easily visible through the open-wheel design. The Shelby's exterior paint work has been professionally ceramic-coated. This GT350 R could've just rolled out of a Ford-dealer showroom.

Inside, the same “unblemished” descriptor applies to every surface, all executed in black with tasteful red accents and brushed-metal enhancements. Recaro-branding in red accents the black, very well-bolstered racing seats (with suede inserts); red stitching and red “R” embroidery on the headrests add more visual "pop." Door-trim design echoes this look, including the red accent stitching. Factory black carpeting remains in excellent condition. The purposeful, driver-focused dash and instruments are in perfect condition and are framed by the cobra-emblem steering wheel. Dash “GT350 R” badging includes the car's chassis number. Every feature works as it should; every graphic or switch-identifier—including on the console-mounted 6-speed manual shifter with red shift-pattern inlay—is without wear. We encourage careful appraisal of the close-up photography in the gallery to assess the excellent condition of interior surfaces throughout.

Under the hood, the fresh 5.2-liter, 526-horsepower V8, in sinister-looking black, lurks beneath a factory-installed, Ford Performance-branded shock-tower brace. The engine features the signatures of the technicians who built it. As with the rest of the car, the surfaces on the engine and related components are spotless, and the same applies to the car's chassis when viewed from below.

All the car's original identification and information tags remain as mounted at the factory.
