“My 190e has 242,000 miles on it. Runs like new. Very smooth ride, good acceleration even though it is a 4 cyl 2.3l. Fun to drive. I just love it. The only problem I faced lately was overheating because of a bad fan clutch and that was a cheap job and never overheated again. I will definitely keep this car regardless of mileage.”

The car's exterior Arctic White non-metallic paint retains excellent gloss, a tribute to the Mercedes standards of the day (also demonstrated in its perfect body-panel alignment). The sheet metal is free of dings, dents or other damage. Chrome—including the classic Mercedes grille—is all in excellent condition. All factory badging is in place. Cabin glass and lighting lenses are undamaged. (To best assess the quality of the paint and trim finishes, be sure to view the close-up photographs of the car in the accompanying gallery.) Original 15-inch alloy wheels are mounted with Kumho® Solus 205/60 tires.

The car's interior surfaces show the same outstanding condition as its exterior. Gray MB-Tex upholstery—known for its resistance to wear, and very long life—retains a virtually as-new look. Door trim is likewise flawless. Gray carpeting—protected with Mercedes-branded matching carpet mats—is nearly perfect. The leather-trimmed steering wheel, black dashboard, and instrument cluster all retain their original look and finish. The center console's wood trim—including that surrounding the shift lever for the automatic transmission—is complete and unmarred. The stock Mercedes-brand audio unit remains mounted. The trunk appears to have never carried any cargo.

Under the hood, the 2.3-liter Mercedes 4-cylinder engine is clean, complete, and unmodified. All components are properly installed in a tidy engine bay. The air-conditioning system was converted to R134 refrigerant in 2021. Viewed from below, the chassis is undamaged and very clean overall with body-protecting covers in place.
