(Please note: If you happen to be viewing this 2007 Shelby GT on a website other than our Garage Kept Motors site, it's possible that you've only seen some of our many photographs of the car due to third-party website limitations. To be sure you access all of the more than 165 photographs, as well as a short start-up and walk-around video, and a link to the Shelby's one-owner, accident-and-damage-free, very low-mileage Carfax history report, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.)
“'Our goal is to offer a steed for every need,' said Barry Engle, general marketing manager, Ford Division. “The Shelby GT is a low-volume, extremely collectable Mustang for enthusiasts. It offers a few more customers the opportunity to experience the magic of Mustang and Carroll Shelby firsthand.” - MustangSpecs website
The website continued: “The Shelby GT was really the sweet spot in terms of performance. It was not as insanely powerful as the super-high-output GT500 with the supercharged Ford GT engine and special enough to really be better than the Mustang GT. The V8 is strong, with a great exhaust roar, and it feels plenty powerful for the street. The shifter was great and a joy to use. The chassis and suspension were also a step on from what we were used to in Mustangs of the era. This was a special car. The upgrades were worth the money. First, all 2007 Shelby GT models started life as Mustang GTs which was already a very solid base car for the modifications. Ford took those GTs and shipped them from its Flat Rock, Michigan, assembly plant to Shelby Automobile's facility in Las Vegas for modification before delivery to Ford dealerships.”

Offered here is a 2007 Shelby GT in Performance White Clearcoat with silver stripes over black. Showing just 798 original miles on its odometer, the Shelby's condition is superb in all respects. The Shelby was shipped from Ford's Flat Rock Assembly Plant to Fox Ford of Grand Rapids, Michigan for retail sale to its first, and only owner. The car's original window sticker is included in the sale. (Please see the window-sticker photo showing all options and standard equipment in the accompanying gallery.)
The exterior Performance White paint remains in near-showroom condition; the surface is smooth, unscarred, and the gloss is as-new. The silver-striped hood (and riveted hood scoop), roof, rear-deck, and silver “Shelby GT” side stripes are similarly pristine. (To best assess the quality of the paint and trim finishes, be sure to view the close-up photographs of the car in the accompanying gallery.) The front, black chin spoiler, rear-fender intakes, and rear-diffuser valance are free of scrapes or other damage. Limited chrome trim—on the hood pins and dual-exhaust outlets—is in excellent condition. The cabin glass and all lighting lenses are clear and uncracked. All factory badging is properly in place including the Mustang grille emblem (offset to the driver's side), “Powered by Ford” front-fender emblems, S-h-e-l-b-y trunk lid lettering, and “GT” chrome gas cap. Stock 5-spoke, 18-inch polished-aluminum Shelby wheels (with Mustang logo center caps) are mounted with BFGoodrich® g-force Sport Comp2 235/50 blackwall performance tires.
Inside, the showroom-new condition continues with a purposeful, driver-focused design and an all-black theme. Classic, horizontally pleated, leather-trimmed sport bucket seats harken back to the original Mustang design, as does the folding rear bench seat. Seating surfaces are in extremely well-maintained condition free of damage or noticeable wear. Door trim includes black hard plastic with a subtle, textured-panel insert and multiple speakers. A brushed-metal-trimmed, 3-spoke sport steering wheel with Mustang logo center frames the full chrome-trimmed analog instrument array. Handsome, round vents are located across the dash. The center-dash stack includes the HVAC controls and factory audio system beneath a Carroll Shelby autograph badge showing the chassis-specific Shelby identification number: 07SGT1195. The shift lever for the 5-speed manual transmission (topped with a cue-ball-white knob showing the shift pattern) is located on the center console. Black carpeting covers the cabin floors. Every surface in the cabin is in essentially new condition. The car's trunk appears never to have carried any cargo.
Under the hood, the 325-horsepower, Ford Performance 4.6-liter V8 is a commanding presence under the shock-tower dual-bracing and black intake manifold. The low-restriction air-induction system adds to the impression. The engine bay is stock without modifications and the surface condition of all components is spotless. Viewed from below, the story's the same: impeccable original-finish surfaces, entirely free of damage or any sign of misuse. The car looks as brand-new from this perspective as it does from above.
The car's original identification and build tags remain as mounted at the factory. The sale includes all original paperwork including the aforementioned factory window sticker, as well as the Shelby Automobiles, Inc. window sticker, the original owner's manual, and packet. A custom car cover is also included in the sale.
While the more than 165 high-definition photographs and the short walk-around-and-startup video available on the GarageKeptMotors website showcase this '07 Shelby GT in detail from every angle, including from below, we expect and encourage in-person inspections at our Grand Rapids, Michigan showroom. Please call to arrange an appointment in advance as our showroom is not open to the public. And feel free to get in touch anytime by phone or email if you have questions.
If a Shelby GT is on your shopping list, this pristine, one-owner, very-low-mileage, well cared-for, white-and-silver, 5-speed manual example deserves to be at the very top of that list. It's that good.
