(Please note: If you happen to be viewing this 2011 Lincoln Town Car Signature LTD on a website other than our Garage Kept Motors site, it's possible that you've only seen some of our many photographs of the car due to third-party website limitations. To be sure you access all the more than 145 photographs, as well as a short start-up and walk-around video, and a link to the Town Car's accident-and-damage-free Carfax history report, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.)

“Goodbye to an American Classic” – Echo Limousines website

The website continued: “For many decades, the Lincoln Town Car was synonymous with American luxury. This handsome vehicle served as a mainstay of the limousine industry, shuttling VIPs, brides, prom partiers and others back and forth in comfort and style. The Lincoln Town Car was also a staple of the luxury car market for everyday drivers, and for years a Town Car in the driveway was a sure signal that the driver had arrived.”

The once-popular song “Never can say goodbye” should be playing in the background, because the 2011 Lincoln Town Car Signature LTD offered here is an opportunity to avoid saying goodbye to a piece of automotive history, while enjoying its many luxurious comforts. Showing 56,561 miles on its odometer, the Town Car has traveled just under 5,700 miles per-year on average since new. What's more, the Carfax history report documents regular, professional maintenance over the car's life, mostly in Iowa.

The car's exterior French Silk White paint is a beautiful pearlescent shade that looks very much at home on a Lincoln. The finish is uniformly shiny with smooth gloss over the entire body. There are no flaws and no damage anywhere on the exterior; the car was clearly the owners' pride and joy. The matching fabric on the roof was optioned on the Signature Series cars and incorporates faux convertible-top trim at its base. All chrome work—the front grille, bodyside trim, wheel-arch trim, and rear license-plate surround—has been well maintained; it displays excellent shine. A double-stripe on the car's flanks adds distinctiveness. All cabin glass is clear as are all lighting lenses, fore and aft. Discreet factory emblems, including the standing Lincoln hood ornament, are all in place. The original 10-spoke alloy wheels (showing some minor deterioration of their finish in places) with Lincoln-logo centers are mounted with GoodYear® All-Season tires.

The Town Car's luxurious interior has been beautifully cared for. The light-tan leather seats (with Lincoln logos embroidered on the front seatbacks and the rear headrests) show virtually no signs of use, much less abuse; the leather is properly clean and free of flaws, and the color is a perfect complement to the car's exterior. Leather door panels are stylishly trimmed with wood and the doors close with a satisfying, solid thunk. The multi-function steering wheel—its rim partially covered in leather with the top in burled wood) frames an analog instrument cluster (including both speedometer and tachometer) in black. The shift lever for the automatic transmission is mounted on the column. The wood-trimmed dark-brown dash includes well-integrated center audio and HVAC controls together with an analog clock. The car features every power and convenience option Lincoln offered. Cabin floors are covered in thick tan carpeting which has been maintained to the same standard as the rest of the car. The car's trunk appears never to have transported anything more than a briefcase.

Under the hood, the very reliable 4.6-liter FoMoCo V8 commands a complete, clean, and tidy engine bay. All components are present, and no aftermarket components have been added. Viewed from below, the car's chassis—including the full-length, dual exhaust system—is complete, and properly ordered.

While the more than 145 high-definition photographs and the short walk-around-and-startup video available on the GarageKeptMotors website showcase this 2011 Lincoln Town Car in detail from every angle, including from below, we expect and encourage in-person inspections at our Grand Rapids, Michigan showroom. Please call to arrange an appointment in advance as our showroom is not open to the public. And feel free to get in touch anytime by phone or email if you have questions.

Who knows whether we'll ever again see the likes of this last-year Lincoln Town Car? Regardless, the next owner of this wonderful example will have many years not to really worry about the answer to that question.
