1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Pro Street

468ci V8 w/TH400 - Ford 9” Rear End - B&M Shifter - Billet Aluminum Wheels - Tidy Interior -

Take a close look at this first-generation Camaro that offers aggressive looks, and power to back up the looks. This car features a number of upgrades including a 468ci V8, B&M shifter, and Ford 9” rear end which all help with the ability to run quick times down the drag strip. In addition to the powerplant, a tidy interior, clean and tubbed body finished in Pearl White Metallic paint, and a forward rake make this car hard to miss.

The familiar clean and crisp lines of the first generation Camaro look great in Pearl White Metallic paint. We're not sure what color the car left the factory wearing, but the white that now covers the body was expertly applied, and shows even coating and gloss. Other details of the body are Z/28 grille and headlights, cowl hood, rear spoiler, and blacked out tail light panel. Black “hockey stick” stripes provide some contrast to the white paint, and accentuate the lines of the front fenders.

The interior is tidy and features a pair of bucket seats, roll cage, and a pair of “tubs” to give more room for the wide rear tires. A set of white face gauges, B&M shifter, Pioneer Stereo, and a Grant steering wheel are other interior highlights. Seat upholstery and carpeting throughout look to have been updated recently. One area inside the car to note is how nicely the area where the rear seat would normally be is finished. A pair of vinyl panels has been stitched to match the front seat stitching, and fits around the roll cage. Also, the rear “tubs” have been neatly carpeted allowing them to blend with the rest of the interior.

A 468ci V8 sits under the hood with a number of goodies to give it a nice amount of power. A few highlights are, 4BBL carburetor, Accel plug wires, hi-rise valve covers, and Hedman Headers. A TH400 transmission and 9” Ford rear end holding 3.73 gears help transmit the power that the V8 pumps out. Billet aluminum wheels are wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires, which create a large contact patch with the ground.

This classic Camaro perfectly fits the term 'show and go'. It's nicely finished inside and out, yet could be taken to the dragstrip to lay down some fast passes. Good looks, power, and a very nice overall finish are just a few of the positive things about this Camaro. The biggest positive is that you now have the chance to park this car in your garage.
