The 50th Anniversary of anything is special, and to commemorate the 50th anniversary of America's favorite sports car, Chevrolet offered a special version of the Corvette. This Corvette offers many of the 50th Anniversary options, and even the badging, but it is not one of the 50th Anniversary cars that were finished in 'Anniversary Red' over a Shale interior. It looks as though 50th Anniversary badging and and details were added. This car also has a Billy Boat exhaust which allows you to hear the 5.7L V8 a little better.

The sleek lines of this fifth generation Corvette are accentuated by gloss black paint, and accented by a red stripe on the hood. The car features a front bumper that has extra ducts beneath the turn signals, mesh inserts in the ducts next to the turn signals, and '50th Anniversary' badging worked into the standard Corvette badge. A Billy Boat exhaust features unique exhaust tips that follow the curves of the lower bumper. 18-inch chrome wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot sport tires.

Black leather seats are embroidered with the word Corvette, and the steering wheel and shift knob are finished with bright red accents. A plaque mounted just in front of the shifter reminds you of the engine displacement, horsepower, and compression ratio, just like the C3 Corvettes of the '70's. 'Selective Ride' switch and a traction control button give you the chance to tailor the car to your driving style, and Bose stereo components give you the opportunity to make sure that you can hear your tunes over the V8.

Under the hood is a 5.7 Liter V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Another option offered in 2003 is the Magnetic ride suspension. It was a new technology that GM had just successfully introduced on the Cadillac STS, and its capabilities fit right in with the performance minded Corvette. A Billy Boat exhaust that features large polished exhaust tips is mounted neatly under the car which is very clean and in great condition. A good amount of documentation also comes with the car. The car was obviously well cared for during its time on the road. Just under 30k miles have been logged on this Corvette, so it's in great condition and ready for the road.
