“A bold step forward for luxury crossovers.” –Automobile magazine, December 2015
Car and Driver added more praise for the Q7: “The big Audi deftly combines the interior finery, comfort, and handling prowess of a luxury sports sedan with all the towing and hauling proficiency most people ever need. It's the rightful leader of the mid-size luxury-SUV segment.”
The list of standard features in the Q7 “premium plus” offering is long and impressive. From the autobytel website: “Standard interior features include dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming rear view mirror, and leather seats with heated front seats and 12-way power seat with driver's seat memory.”
“On the electronic front you get the Audi MMI Navigation plus system with voice control system, a BOSE Surround Sound System with 14 speakers and AudioPilot noise compensation, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and Traffic, Audi music interface with iPod integration, and Bluetooth streaming audio. You also get a HomeLink garage door opener, Audi advanced key for keyless entry and start, and a hill descent control.”
“On the exterior the Premium Plus package comes with Xenon-plus headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, front and rear fog lights, power open and close tailgate, and power folding, auto-dimming, heated side mirrors.”
Not surprisingly, Automobile magazine heaped praise on the Q7's styling, another Audi strong suit: “This is a car that really must be seen in person, as light plays off the ultra-sharp body creases. Almost imperceptible humps above each wheel highlight the vehicle's all-wheel-drive capability. And brushed-metal blades at the lower edges of each door are intended to visually lower the Q7, giving it an appearance that is more station wagon than crossover.”
The white-over-light-tan Q7 offered here is a one-owner vehicle that has been properly serviced and meticulously cared for by its owner. Its 71,000 miles barely show. Exterior paint and trim appear as new. Optional ten-spoke wheels add to the Q7's already stylish good looks. In similar fashion, the leather interior treats occupants in all three rows tothe luxury and high style Audi has become famous for. Fit and finish is impeccable, and every surface—from leather to carpeting to its handsome dark wood trim—shows beautifully.
This Q7 is mechanically sound with a perfectly clean 3-liter V6 engine, tires with plenty of tread remaining, and a fully functional array of added operating features including Quattro all-wheel drive, and shift-able automatic transmission.
The truly exceptional condition of this Audi Q7 is faithfully presented from every angle (including from below) in the more than 145 high-definition photographs and the short walk-around-and-startup video available at the GarageKeptMotors site. That said, we always encourage in-person, up-close inspections by interested parties at our Grand Rapids, Michigan showroom. We ask only that advance appointments be made by phone or email so that we can devote our full attention to our visitors. Our showroom is not open to the public.
After a 40,000-mile, long-term test of the Q7, Car and Driver concluded: “... the 2017 Audi Q7 represents a bold step forward for luxury crossovers. Stylish, comfortable, and loaded to the brim with useful and usable technology, it's the sort of crossover in which we'd happily take a long family road trip.” We at Garage Kept Motors agree completely.
