The Men's Journal reviewers praised the 2017 Maserati's improvements: “The Ghibli... benefits from technological and safety enhancements.... On the tech side, the navigation/infotainment system in the Quattroporte is standard equipment on the Ghibl ..... “ But beyond the tech enhancements, they hailed what makes the brand famous: “You don't buy a Maserati because it has the ability to drive itself and keep you out of harm's way. The best way to experience the Ghibli is to plant your right foot on the accelerator and not lift.” They explained: “It's an understatement to say that the 410-hp, twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 is a powerhouse. Built by Ferrari in Maranello, the engine burbles and pops and growls even at idle, with an impressive exhaust note to boot. The 8-speed automatic makes quick work of 0 to 60 in about four seconds, and you're at triple-digit speeds before you know what's really happened.

The 2017 Maserati Ghibli offered here in Blue Emozion over charcoal leather, with fewer than 3,000 total miles, is essentially a new car. Its outstanding condition in every way bears that out. Respecting its special character, this automobile has clearly been conscientiously maintained by its sole owner over its short life.

One reviewer described the Ghibli's appealing exterior design: “The iconic Maserati grille, the triple front-fender vents, the sculpted creases and curves, the fluid coupe-like roofline, the classic trident logos, the muscular rear-drive proportions and sinewy athletic stance, all add up to a unique blend of Italian sportiness and elegance.” In its special shade of blue, this Ghibli is especially noteworthy. The condition of the body—from exterior paint to trim to glass, emblems, and lighting lenses—is exceptional. It is free of dents or other imperfections. The multi-spoke 19-inch wheels and performance all-season tires almost seem to have never been on the road: no scuffs, curb rash, or other imperfections.

Inside, the seating surfaces, door trim, and dash (with its top-mounted analog clock)—are rendered in classic charcoal, and are true to fine Italian motorcar classic design. Leather seats feature a vertical-pleat design harkening back to European automobiles of the past. Analog instruments face the driver framed by the leather-wrapped steering wheel featuring the Maserati trident insignia. The console features the automatic transmission shifter with manual-gear-change option. Cabin carpeting continues the as-new theme. All of the car's operating systems—large-screen infotainment, climate control, and power-assist—including those on the overhead console, function as they should.

The engine bay is spotless. All components are present and properly mounted. The Ferrari-built 3-liter, twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder engine is handsomely identified with the Maserati trident. Underneath, the chassis is free of damage or signs of abuse.
