Garage Kept Motors is proud to offer this beautifully restored 1968 Ford F-100 Ranger Pickup Truck. Our client purchased the truck in 2014 after it was fully restored in sunny California. The fit and finish on the restoration was done to perfection. Chrome, paint, interior, and undercarriage are all in amazing condition. Of note is that this is a F100 Ranger, which at the time was a top trim package.

The exterior styling is just as Ford intended other than the 20” US Mags alloy wheels found on all 4 corners of the truck and a spray on bedliner. The bigger wheels give the truck a tough look, and fit in the fenders thanks to extended/mini tubbed rear fenders which are neatly integrated. All trim and brightwork show very well, body panels line up as they should, and the bright Red paint is glossy and even throughout. The truck is capped with Creme paint on the cab for a little bit of contrast.

Inside the truck is a tidy interior which has a factory original trim look other than a few nicely integrated extras. The bench seat has been reupholstered in black vinyl, and new black carpeting has been installed. Highlights of the simple dashboard are a new JVC CD/Radio, custom red pinstriping surrounds the gauges, and a new black dash-pad caps off the cream colored dashboard.

Under the hood is a 390ci V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Other noteworthy features include an Edelbrock Performance Carburetor, Edelbrock Valve Covers, Optima Battery, Mallory Distributor, and Flowmaster dual exhaust.

The owners have cared for this classic truck meticulously and it shows. No excuses and no disappointments here. A truly beautiful classic truck at a very reasonable price point.
