Garage Kept Motors is pleased to offer this attractive Camaro Convertible for your consideration. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS was completely restored in 2002, which included a frame off restoration of the body, and an engine rebuild. The original Bill of Sale shows that the car was originally delivered to Don Howson Chevrolet, Oldsmobile of Willowdale Ontario.

Classic Performance of Calgary Alberta Canada professionally restored the body and painted the car in Bright Red with White 'hockey stick' stripes. According to the trim tag this car left the Norwood Ohio plant finished in Rallye Green, which was a bright chili pepper green. The red which is currently on the car is similar to the Garnet Red color option that was offered on Camaros in 1969.

The interior was done during the restoration process and is finished in the factory correct colors of white and black (code 727). The interior features wood veneer trimmed center console and dashboard, “horseshoe” shifter, stock radio (aftermarket radio hidden in glovebox), clock, and power top.

In the tidy engine bay sits a 350ci V8 mated to an automatic transmission. The engine was rebuilt by Western Corvette of Calgary, Alberta Canada. During that process a whole host of new parts were installed including valve springs, rocker arms, oil pump, camshaft, all new bearings, and lifters. Western Corvette also completed the restoration of the suspension, and brakes. New bearings, axles, brakes, and brake lines were installed, and the differential was disassembled for powder coating and inspection. 16” wheels wrapped in white letter BF Goodrich tires finish off the exterior styling.

Not only is this car an extremely nice example of a classic American sports car, it's been fully restored to an eye catching, head turning car.
