We're excited to offer this highly original, 44k mile Vette droptop for your consideration. This car has been with one family since 1981. This is one of their cars that was always garage kept and not restored in any way during their ownership. Enjoyed on the road every once in a while, with proper maintenance always being a focus throughout the years.

Since the car is highly original, the original Ontario Orange paint (Code 987) shows its age slightly, and is cracking in just a few places. We appreciate the fact that the car is highly original, this leaves the buyer the option of continuing to leave the paint alone or repaint it. The paint is still glossy and all the exterior trim is in great condition. The hardtop, which is finished in black vinyl, is in great condition.

The interior is finished in the original Black Vinyl (Trim code 400) and shows very well. The gauges in the familiar instrument cluster, and cluster of gauges in the center console are clear and in working order. Along with the Original Delco radio, is a Delco “Jac Pac” air adjustable suspension controller/gauge mounted at the lower part of the dash in the passenger's footwell.

The original 270 horsepower 350ci V8 mated to a Muncie M21 4 speed manual transmission occupies the space in the engine bay. This car starts up on command and is a strong runner - the rumble of the 350 never gets old! The brakes were gone through just a few years ago, and any other necessary maintenance has been addressed when required. This awesome Vette is finished in a great color combination, has a 4-speed transmission, shows only 44k miles, and is highly original.
