"The most beautiful car ever made." - Enzo FerrariSee over 90 photos and video on dealer website: Garage Kept MotorsOffered here for sale is nothing short of a gorgeous driving machine. Enzo Ferrari, famous for making some of the world's most stunning cars, claimed the Jaguar E-Type tops them all. This 1969 Jaguar E-Type SII Roadster is no exception. The design and body lines truly are a work of art. The car was purchased by our client in 1982 from New York before he moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan where the car has been garage-kept ever since. In 1989, he had two local shops perform some restoration work. First, Fred's Body Shop professionally finished the body and painted it the original British Racing Green color. Then, Celia's Upholstery did the interior in a tan leather. Both exterior and interior finishes remain in great condition as the car was not driven often since and always stored in a garage through the winters. Actually, the reason our client is selling is because he feels the car needs to be driven more and hopes the next owner will do just that. The car is powered by the original 4.2L/246hp 6-Cylinder engine mated to a manual transmission with rear-wheel drive. It starts right up do to an upgraded electronic ignition and runs/drives exceptionally well. The only other upgrade is the aftermarket radio. Other than that, the car remains completely stock. It has been routinely serviced at West Michigan Imports with service records dating back to 1984, and our client kept all receipts since. This car is not concours but is definitely a head turner. It shows well and can be driven anywhere with ease. If you're looking to actually drive the most beautiful car ever made, this is the car for you. We rank it at a number 3 on Hagerty's Valuation Tool. Definitely nicer than a number 4 and priced accordingly. We are open to reasonable offers as well.Call or e-mail if interested. Thank you for looking.
