Take a good look at this modern muscle car - another offering from one of the Big 3 with retro styling, modern conveniences, and the same kind of fun factor as a classic muscle car. This MOPAR offers a powerful V6, nicely equipped interior, and good looks that will have you looking back as you walk away from this car after parking it.
Speaking of this car's good looks, white metallic paint with the factory name 'White Knuckle' and 19” alloy wheels finished in 'Granite Crystal' are the first aspects that catch your eyes. HID headlights, gloss black grille, front chin spoiler, vented hood, black fuel door, LED tail lights, rectangular tail pipes, and a black rear spoiler culminate to give this GT an aggressive look.
The big list of options on this car are those found inside the car - 8.4” touchscreen, heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, navigation, XM Radio, Android/Apple connectivity, performance pages, media hub, premium speakers, Bluetooth, dual zone climate control, remote start, keyless go, reverse camera, paddle shifters, and a leather steering wheel. All the aforementioned features make the interior a comfortable place to be. We don't think that the designers of the original Challenger in the late '60's would have ever dreamed that so many options would be available in a car of the same name some 50 years later.
Make no mistake, this car is quick despite having the smaller V6 under the hood rather than one of the V8's available. The 3.6L V6 offers 305 horsepower, and is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with power being transmitted to the ground through all 4 wheels. All wheel drive is great for inclement weather conditions, and being sure footed when performing a fast takeoff. The electronic stability control and traction control are useful for quick starts too. Different driving mode selections are available from the driver's seat - Sport, and Super Track Pack.
The modern muscle car is alive and well, and this Challenger is just one of the fine examples of one such vehicle. 305 horsepower, nicely equipped interior, and a powerful V6 under the hood may not be what Dodge designers in the late 60's thought a modern Challenger would look like, but we can assure you that this car will have you looking back at it everytime you walk away from it.
