A majority of the mileage shown on the odometer of this Platinum 928S was put on the car on the roads of sunny California. We know that most older Porsches are in collector's crosshairs, and 928's are the latest Porsche model that seem to be hitting their stride in the collector car market. This 928 is a solid example that offers an understated color combination, and a 5 speed manual.

One of the best indications of the overall condition of this 928S can be found in the more than 150 photographs of every aspect of the car, inside and out, top and bottom. Pictures really tell the story of this car.

This Platinum 928 is finished in Platinum Metallic over a dark brown leather trimmed interior. The front seats were recently recovered in the factory color leather trim, and aftermarket stereo components have been added in the form of speakers and a double DIN headunit. The exterior features simple monoblock wheels, neatly integrated front and rear spoilers, and those quirky headlights at the front of the car. Recent service includes front brake rotors and pads, shifter linkage and ball socket, serpentine belt, new tires, and a new battery.

With the vintage Porsche market still showing strong, the 928's are cars to consider, despite what some think is a quirky looking car. 928's have strong V8's under the hood, daring styling, and interiors built for comfort and grand touring. This car is a solid example of a German icon. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions.
