I was initially concerned about the validity of the website and if this was a scam. I can tell you if you deal directly with the phone on their website you will get the cell of the sales and shipping managers. Heath went above and beyond to get the truck shipped and I am very satisfied.

I came across Garage Kept while looking for a restored porsche 911 of which they had 2 on hand. I asked around and found a few acquaintances that had great experiences with them.I moved forward and had them source a 911 out of the country which they handled every aspect including working with the seller, handling the transportation and even the import duties. Car arrived and it is amazing.I then entrusted them to sell a cayenne turbo which they did in under 2 weeks. Another home run.These experiences have both been great and they are now my Go To broker.

I had a great experience working with Garage Kept Motors in my very long search for a pre-owned Porsche 911. I purchased the car sight unseen as I live 750 miles away. The car is unique and flawless and was perfectly photographed and described. I worked with AJ, Heath and Candy as they ensured a smooth and speedy transaction. The car needed to be shipped and Heath really stepped in and secured a shipper during a very busy time and even came to the showroom on a Sunday in order for the car to be loaded and taken in NY State. The car was perfectly loaded into an enclosed trailer for the journey. I purchased the car on a Thursday and it was in my garage on Monday. I purchase a 1982 BMW 633 CSI from GKM in an auction. The AC was listed as working, prior to my pick up they went through the car and the AC had stopped working. The car was fixed at considerable cost to GKM with out charge. They are honest and the car is fantastic. I can highly recommend this company

Nice facility, friendly staff. I was unaware a visit required a call ahead / appointment for access. A gentleman saw me at the door, and fortunately welcomed me in and was able to look at a car of interest. Fully recommend Garage Kept Motors! Website is great and I can't imagine being able to take any more pictures or video of the car. Nick the sales manager worked with me and my schedule to let me look at the car - after we spent an hour looking at all the other cars there :)! Truly a car lover's dream! So glad I took the trip to GR to see it. (they are really only 15 mins from the airport) Nick even hooked me up with the Founders Brew pub for a great dinner and beer! They arranged shipping, a pleasure to work with Heath and my car arrived in perfect condition. Candy in the office made the whole transaction seamless. The car was exactly what I was looking for and as advertised - truly being a car from "Car guys!"

They definitely over priced the truck I bought and didn't detail all the issues it had. That is on me. Do as they say and get a third party inspection. I wish I had. The bigger issue is the car being sold as is. It clearly had a new optima battery in multiple pictures. They stole it because it "wouldn't start" and put a cheap Econo Power battery in it. Even if it wouldn't start because they neglected it, at least put the optima battery in it so I could have charged it when it arrived. I would caution against using GKM and wouldn't advise my friends to buy anything from them. If they'll rip off something easily seen, what do they do with things unseen?

I had owned my 1967 Corvette since 1986. My first two children were born during the time of my body off restoration.I remember my first son being in the garage and his helping me work on it, LOL.This car was truly part of the family.So Ive had the car for over 38 years.My wife was concerned that I would become unable to pull together the history of the car, and that I probably should consider during it while I was still able.So I pulled together its history and with as many pictures as possible made sure my Documentation was complete and then to finally to find the right venue to sell the car.I looked at the big auction houses, my trying to sell the car myself and also the Consignment Automobile business.I located two that were very close to where we live and I chose Garage Kept.I chose them because they understood my closeness to the car, they also understood the car itself. They know cars!I also liked the fact that the car would only be shown to onlypre- approved customers. They advised, they did not pressure me, and gave me confidence , and good intel on the market.The selling took some time ( about 5 months ).We tried several ways to communicate with prospective buyers.We finally went with a large internet auction house/Garage kept.The car sold for more than I had been asking for it. Wow!!!The money arrived before the end of the week.So if you are in the same position I was in Please contact,AJ, Jeremy, and or Cole. you will glad you' did.Side note, I had a massive heart attack this week.I obviously survived it as I am able to tell you this story.Don't put off today what you know you should do, for yourself and your family.Best of luck 😊

This company is awesome! They have the best customer service bar none and they stand by the cars they are selling! We purchased a 1931 Ford Model A. Before even coming out we did our research, Better Business Bureau Rating, reviews, every pic of the car blown up to see every detail. We decided this may the car for us and set up an appointment to see the vehicle. We validated everything, fired it up to see how it ran, went through all the gears, made sure everything worked and decided this was the one and made an offer. A few days later we went to pick it up and it just would not start. This is where the 5 star rating comes from. Nick contacted the seller Tom from Grannd Rapids Motor Car who came out with his mechanic Scott to help us out. Long story short he loaded it up on a trailer, took it his shop, ended being distributor issue, fixed it and then delivered it to our home for FREE. Nick, Candy, Tom, Scott, and the guy who's name I can't remember that was helping us when we viewed the car and again when we came in the pick it up, thank you!!!

First time buying a classic, let alone one from out of state (I'm in Austin, GKM is in Grand Rapids, MI) and the process couldn't have been smoother or more enjoyable.
