That sentiment from NewCarTestDrive is widely shared among the Audi-enthusiast community where the A5 is almost universally hailed as among the most beautiful Audi models ever produced. The relatively rare A5 Quattro Cabriolet offered here, with the up-market “Premium Plus” equipment package and especially rare espresso-and-camel interior, is a perfect example of the breed.

Perhaps most noteworthy is the exceptional, near-new condition of this A5 throughout. Not only is it a one-owner car (verified by Carfax), but its comprehensive dealer-service history is evidence of an owner obsessed with maintaining the car in top condition. The exterior of the car shows no damage, and virtually no evidence of wear at all. The silver paint (which is almost an Audi trademark color) is uniformly glossy; the black fabric convertible top is unmarred showing no wear marks or discoloration; premium wheels are free of curb rash; lenses, windshield glass, lenses, grill, and brightwork (including on the exhaust outlets) is near-perfect. The A5's interior underscores why Audi's reputation for design and execution of driver and passenger areas is the luxury-level standard in the industry. Features abound, including premium leather seating, open-grain ash trim, analog instrumentation, full Audi MMI audio and navigation suite, console-mounted Tiptronic shifter and MMI control, beautifully sculpted door trim, and across it all, a remarkable level of fit and finish. The espresso-color dash and door trim is beautifully complemented by camel leather upholstery and trim. Few A5 cabriolets were born with this interior combination, as most tend to be a less impressive gray or black.

The car's engine bay could not have looked much better when it originally left the dealership. Clean and complete, it's another example of an extraordinary owner-care commitment. The turbo-charged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine has been described as an “overachiever,” due to its impressive 220-horsepower and surprisingly quick acceleration, especially in the important 50-70 mph range. And, of course, the advantages of Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system are legendary.

The car's undercarriage shows very little wear, and no evidence of winter use. Surfaces are free of damage and clean. A car cover—yet another indicator of how this A5 was cared for—is also included in the sale.
